About Kripatheeram
Our Mission to Empower Elder Women
Kripatheeram, a home for the homeless, was established on 18 January 2012.
The Congregation of the Holy Family was founded by
Blessed Mother Mariam Thressia,
with Venerable Rev. Fr. Joseph Vithayathil as its co-founder.
The congregation has nine provinces, and more than 2,500 sisters serve in various parts of the world, including India, Italy, Germany, the United States, and Africa. Kripatheeram comes under the Kripajyothi Province, Muvattupuzha, in Ernakulam District, Kerala.
Rev. Sr. Maries Mampilly was inspired to establish this institution.
At present, Kripatheeram is home to 42 inmates and is cared for by six sisters.
